The girl who's not Travis or Lisa in the store. Molly is our full-time getter of things done gal. She's in the shop three days a week and behind the scenes the other two-or-so. Our Instagram, Facebook, website, newsletter, that's her getting our message out to the masses. She won't tell you everything, but here is a little bit about her:
Crested Butte of course. I like Telluride, I like Jackson, I like Hood River but this place is special and there are so many reasons I call it home. Our community, the terrain on the mountain, trail access, my friends, and the local businesses that make up Gunnison and Crested Butte to name a few. I love it here.
The Bean in Gunnison. Coffee, smoothies, bagels, it’s all good. The owners rock and it’s just the tastiest place.
Smuggler’s Brew Pub in Telluride for both. Awesome brewery and it’s perfect after a day of skiing pow or just cruising town.
Sistah run Firebrand Delicatessen in Gunnison. Kate and Heidi make a mean team. I don’t know how you could come to Crested Butte or Gunnison and not stop there.
18 Road in Fruita. I love early season trips there with my friends and/or boyfriend. It seems to always be a little warmer and the bike riding is a total treat.
Doctor Park or anything at Hartman’s. Doctor’s has a long steady climb, but once you’re up there it’s time to drop the seat and cruise. We live in Gunnison because of Hartman Rocks. Easy to get to from town, endless singletrack, and there’s always someone out there you know. It never gets old.
Telluride. My uncle and family friends have been showing me the ropes for a long time and it’s the perfect mountain town away from our mountain town. It’s fun not knowing a ton of people and Baked in Telluride is pure heaven.
The scenery. Doing a 360 take when you’re up by 403 is surreal. I love the views and until I’m sick of them you can find me here.
Travis, Lisa, Chris, Sue, Josh, and the people I’ve met through knowing them all. It’s a hub for connecting with people who love this valley and that’s what it’s all about for me.
