Peak fall foliage has come and gone in a few short weeks that seem shorter and shorter every year. October kicked off this past Saturday and it sure feels like it. Unlike many of our favorite spots in Crested Butte we'll be staying open all month seven days a week, because why not. Until too much snow falls biking is still all-time, a few diehard nordic skiers have laced up, hiking remains stellar, and town will become less crowded as the month carries on. At Chopwood Mercantile we have our pumpkins out and spooky ghost flailing in the brisk wind. This October we'll have the latest from Iron & Resin, Icebreaker, Patagonia, NAU, and many more.
